TPTK facing all-in on the river

Villain was 75/25 over only 5 hands. I have really trouble deciding what to do against these players. Do these players ever bluff here ?

This is the psychology that loose aggressive players (LAG) are using on you. You don't know for sure if they really have the nuts this time, or if they are bluffing--again.

In the first two or three hands, there is a good chance that LAG was bluffing. Natives do this all the time. They make you think they are loose playing a few rounds with you, that they are bluffing you off your good hands.

By the time they get a big hand, some players will think--he's bluffing again. So they call... all-in. Hoping to win big this time.

And that is how loose aggressive players get paid with their monster hands.

Villain was playing in early position. He/she probably limped in with a low pair, drawing hands maybe.

If villain played low pairs, he/she must have hit that 4, or 8 and made three of a kind. Consequently, if villain was playing a flush draw, the two clubs on the flop was motivation enough to keep playing.

If I were in your shoes, I'd fold. I don't have enough hand history with this villain. Besides, playing full ring no limit holdem, NEVER, EVER go all in with TPTK on the river.

I'd rather go all-in with AA preflop, but on flop and beyond, TPTK is going to bleed you to death.

Playing low variance winning poker, you do not want players like these sitting on your left. As much as possible, you want to know what their actions are before you make your bid on that pot.

If there's a LAG to my left on the table, or there's more of them, I will leave that table and wait for a better set up.
